2008 - 2009
Ambassador President for Pitt Community College
The Ambassador program at PCC is a well established and is a prestigious program to be in.  Up to 14 students are selected to receive a full scholarship while representing the school in a professional manner at various events such as the PCC Golf Classic and the President's dinner.  We also raised over $1500 for a local organization called the Little Willie Center that was an after school care for children who otherwise would have to be home alone.  In addition, we were required to have at least five hours of volunteer work each week on campus and often times did more.  I was the president of the club which required me to plan out each meeting, hold additional meetings if needed, and take on additional representation of the school by speaking at the various events.
